The Institute is celebrating 10 years serving the community of Metro Detroit, Michigan. In that time, they have been featured in local newspapers, magazines, radio and television. They have become one of the largest Neurobiofeedback(sm) centers in the Mid-West and have performed more than 35,000 session.

Some highlights include more than a full page in The Detroit News dedicated to Dr. James White, Jr. for his work with Detroit Health Care for the Homeless and his contributions to the field of mental health and Neurobiofeedback(sm). They were also featured speakers on a local television program called "Straight Talk." This program was dedicated to alternatives to Ritalin. Lastly, they were the first guests to air on a local radio program (Q-95.5 with Danny Bonaducci) for a program called "Therapy Thursdays."

They have also developed a fully licensed Substance Abuse program in the state of Michigan dedicated to using Neurobiofeedback(sm) as the primary modality with incredible success year after year. During this time, they have also applied to be an accredited facility with the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America (BCIA) for the purposes of training other providers in the art and science of Neurobiofeedback(sm). Lastly, the Michigan Institute for Neurobiofeedback(sm) division of the The Institute has almost "officially" secured non-profit status with the federal government. State approval has already been granted and full tax-exemption status is only weeks away. Additional information will be forthcoming as this site gets nearer to completion.
